JANET JACKSON: LINGERIE DESIGNER
http://cinematicpassions.wordpress.com/2008/08/21/janet-jack...FROM PEOPLE Magazine The latest star to make bold strides in the fashion world is JANET JACKSON. The singer has teamed up with Australian designer BRUNO SCHIAVI, who recently collaborated on DR. REY’S SHAPEWEAR line, to create an intimates collection. PLEASURE PRINCIPLE, named after JANET’S hit 1987 song, encompasses an affordable variety of styles and sizes. (Nothing is over $40.) PLEASURE PRINCIPLE won’t be your grandmother’s underwear by any stretch of the imagination. The collection features satin and Chantilly lace in classic black and white - and also rich colours like burgundy and silver. “There’s something for every woman and that was important to us,” said Ms. Jackson at a press conference for her new venture. “I’ve always hated when lingerie was uncomfortable so the fit and comfort was key.” JANET’S line will hit mass retailers in the US in November and then will arrive some time later in Australia and Europe.
